Would someone share when you need to append to an existing recording? Could you describe the use case? Technically it is possible to add to un-compressed recordings, but that would take 20 times more space on the phone then usual. Or we can skip compression on some recordings that would allow adding. Or we can allow adding to last 10 recorded recordings, for example. So need to know more details behind the need of adding to the existing recordings.

The main point is to be able to add a few thoughts/insights quickly to the end of a recording.

I have a lot of bits of recordings where I think of something to add after turning off the recorder or have additional thoughts drop in later during the day.ann_clark shared this idea · -

An error occurred while saving the comment ann_clark commentedA workaround for quick access to a recording is to put a special character first in the name of the recording.
That will bring the recording to the top of the folder it is in, and it will play when the folder name is touched.

I use many folders. The add-on feature would allow even better organization and access to insights on a particular issue. I often work on more than one subtopic within a folder.
