    Would someone share when you need to append to an existing recording? Could you describe the use case? Technically it is possible to add to un-compressed recordings, but that would take 20 times more space on the phone then usual. Or we can skip compression on some recordings that would allow adding. Or we can allow adding to last 10 recorded recordings, for example. So need to know more details behind the need of adding to the existing recordings.

    I just tested this – the iOS Voice Memos app allows adding to an existing recording, and its “share” options include sending it to this app.
